Mason's 2nd Birthday

Okay, so I know I'm over a month behind...but better late than never. I can't believe my sweet boy is 2! Here are a few pictures of his special day. Thanks to everyone for coming and thanks for the presents!

Our Trip to Colorado

John and I went to Colorado for one of his best friend's wedding. We saw lots of things you definately don't see in Mississippi...like Elk across the road from your hotel. Anyway..congratulations Craig and Michelle!

I took Mason to Country Pumpkins for the first time. He loved to pull the wagon as you can see. He threw a fit when we had to leave! I hope to go back again so he can play longer.

Mason's First Trip to the Aquarium

While we were visiting my dad we decided to take Mason to the aquarium in New Orleans. Mason LOVED the aquarium. For weeks afterward all he talked about was the fish, turtles, and the shark with teeth!

Mason's trip to Gump's

This summer Mason and I went to visit my dad in Hattiesburg. Mason calls my dad Gump (my dad wants to be called Grump but Mason can't say that). We had a great time and Mason did very good on the drive. Gump had lots of toys to play on and also lots of puppies!

Finally!

Our computer is finally working! I feel like we have been out of the loop! I'm posting a picture of Mason on his "4-liller". It is so cute when he tries to say 4-wheeler...his little tongue just rolls! Hope everyone is doing well.

It's Been A While!

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time. My computer at home is not working and this is my first opportunity to get on a computer since I got out of school! I'm at school this week for training! As soon as I can I'll get some updated pictures on here!

What was I doing 5 years ago?

I was newly married, broke and living in an apartment (which I hated!!). I was working as a pharmacy technician at Winn-Dixie. Then I found out that I had gotten a full time teaching position at Sale...and I'm still there!

5 things on my to-do list (or I have already done):

1. update my blog
2. go get supper (Jennifer has me craving Doug & Hazel's)
3. watch something on t.v. besides Noggin
4. wash clothes
5. get in bed at a decent hour

4. animal crackers
5. cheese

5 things I would do if I were a billionaire:

1. pay off all of my debt
2. send Mason to any college he wants (of course he will have academic and athletic scholarships so we won't have to worry about that)

Update on Mason

Mason is doing much better today. When I gave him his breathing treatment at 12:30 a.m. he was still breathing easily. He woke up this morning breathing easier also. We are so thankful!! We all actually got a good night's sleep! Hopefully he will get better each day. I'll keep you updated!

What A Day!

Mason woke up this morning wheezing and struggling to breathe. I took him to the doctor and they said he has accute bronchialitis. He has to do a nebulizer treatment every 4-6 hours. The doctor tested him for RSV and thankfully that came back negative. They did do a nebulizer treatment at the doctor's office (that was an experience if you've never done this!). Mason screamed for at least 5 minutes until he got used to the mask. Thankfully the nebulizer treatment worked because they said if it didn't they would have to hospitalize him! I was so worried!! We were just at the doctor's office a week ago today for his 18 month checkup. That's when they realized he had a double ear infection! He had shown no signs of an ear infection. I just pray that my sweet baby will get over all of this crud!!

Big Ball!

Mason's Maw-Maw brought him a huge beach ball last night. He ran around the house yelling 'big ball"! It was so cute. We started throwing the ball back and forth and Mason was running after it. One time he said, "I got ball." We were so surprised.

My First Blog!
